TFC membranes - thin film composite An excellent membrane for existing reverse osmosis systems.
Use a TFC membrane when the source water has a high TDS (total dissolved solids) . A TFC membrane is bacteria resistant. A TFC membrane has superior rejection and flow rates.
The TFC was developed by NASA. Will need a carbon filter(s) before the membrane when used with chlorinated water.
Up to 100 litres per day water production. The best way to remove metals, nitrates, fluoride.
